While they tried to convince him to tell the feds that he couldn’t go ahead with his plea he was stunned when he learned his lawyer had already ordered an interview or two with some federal prosecutor about Mr. Miyagi’s actions. “I just had to start looking at it,” Mr. Sakashita says.
After a day of searching his lawyer’s office, the attorney asked whether he could be questioned and asked if he wanted to file a criminal complaint against Mr. Miyagi. They agreed but did not say a word until the hearing began.
They were given just one answer: No.

In the meantime, Mr. Sakashita was arrested in a car for running from police because there is an electronic device in his car that is supposed to record the movements of Mr. Miyagi, and the officer is charged with “improperly controlling Mr. Miyagi.”
